It's HOTTTTT -- but flip flops and crop tops are still job-interview DON'TS. Regardless of what your thermometer says, you still need to dress appropriately for your job interview. Here are a few tips for keeping your cool:
- Pack a small cloth or towel to blot your face before you head into the building. Be sure to leave it in your car or stash it in the bottom of your bag, where it's out of sight.
- Opt for natural fibers. Synthetics don't breathe as well
- If you perspire a lot, wear a lightweight, moisture-wicking layer under your shirt or blouse to prevent, well, you know...
- Practice! Being adequately prepared will keep you out of the interview "hot seat."
